Books to Inspire
I have kept sketchbooks for years like a secret treasure trove, but it is only recently that I have found kindred spirits. Urban sketching has become a worldwide phenomenon. The blogs and books that gave me validity are “Everyday Matters” by Danny Gregory and “A Watercolour a Day” by Veronica Lawlor.
A couple of beautiful books are: Leonardo’s Notebooks Edited by H. Anna Suh, John Singer Sargeant Watercolors by Erica E. Hirschler and Teresa A. Carbone.
Ooops lets not forget the wonderful “South of France” by Sara Midda.
Finally watercolor is set free from the Middle Ages !
