Today is chilly with a brisk wind, but the lilac are coming out… finally.
Painting every day and when I’m not painting, I am staggering about my garden, finding sources of inspiration amidst the bugs and weeds.
Winter was mercifully mild, so I could work. “Bob Pots”, my snow time solace, will be on display at the Bobcaygeon Garden Tour on July 7th. Sadly, I can’t be on the Studio Tour this year because of travel, but I plan to have my teeny tiny space open Saturdays in July and August and just see what happens.
I am re-reading “The Letters of Vincent van Gogh”, (he was much sneered at in art school), but a total inspiration to me. I found this:
